My Account

What happens if I change address during the year?

To change your address you will need to go to the My Account page and register your new address and other details with us. Please be sure to check your address prior to printing the book to ensure we send the book to the correct address.

What happens if I change my email address during the year?

Go to the My Account page and give us your new address. Otherwise you will miss out on important print reminders.

What happens if I forget my user name or password?

Go to the Log-in screen and click on Lost username/password. Fill in the email address you gave us and we will reset your password to you.

What happens if I forget the email address I gave you?

Contact us as soon as possible at help@myfootballyear.com and give us all the details you can remember, the original passcode, your name and user name. We will check your account, ask your secret question as an extra layer of security and reset your account details if you can answer the secret question correctly.

What happens if I can't log in?

Contact us at help@myfootballyear.com and give us all the details you can: your original passcode, your name and user name. We also need to know the web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Safari etc.) you are using and what version. You can find this out by opening a web page and clicking through to its about information.

Printing

Can I order duplicate copies of my book?

Yes, it's possible to order multiple copies of your final book and we will give you this option when you come to print the book.

Can I see an online version of my book before I print?

When you are in 'my book' you can review each page and see what a great job you've done.

What happens if I miss a Print date?

We will always print your book for you. We will publish a number of print dates at the end of the season and send out reminder emails. If you miss all the print dates at the end of the season, you may have to wait a little while longer. You can always contact us at help@myfootballyear.com.

Can I print the book from last season?

Yes simply email us at help@myfootballyear.com and we will contact you.

Delivery

How long does it take before I receive my book?

At the end of the season we will give you a few weeks to select your player of the season, design your cover, and check your book. We will then publish a series of print dates on the web site and send out reminder emails to everyone. The estimated time from a published print date to receiving your book is 21 days. Please make sure we have your correct address.

How is my book delivered to me?

Your book is delivered by recorded post so we can check you have received it safely. We only need your full address and post code.

How to use the site

Do I need the starter pack when all the instructions are on this site?

The simple answer is No! However, you do need a passcode and if you are buying this as a special gift then what better way to present it for you.

Why isn't my club featured?

We hope to expend the number of clubs featured in future seasons and it would be really helpful if we were able to gauge demand. You can tell us which other clubs you would like us to cover on the Clubs covered page.

What happens if I join well into the season?

Whenever you start My Football Year, we will have been covering your team for you. You will still be able to make changes to any page of your book, regardless of when you join - even if it's in May!

Do you have photographers at every game?

Very nearly but occasionally we can't cover a particular game - in which case we would make a selection from stock shots of the key players who featured in the game.

Can I add my own photos?

Yes... but not quite yet. This is something we are working on for the 2008/9 season. There have been some great suggestions from myfootballyear supporters be sure to watch out on the web and for emails from us to update you on any new features.

Can I add more pages?

This is a feature we are hoping to introduce in the future. Our regular email updates will include details of all new features so be sure to watch out for them and check the website regularly.

How much time does it take to do?

How much time does it take to fill in a few details and click print? In it's simplest form that is all it takes for you to get your own book of your team's season. If you want to take full advantage of all the editing features you can spend as much time as you want, having your say and edit away to your hearts content.

What if I don't want to do anything on the web?

That's OK. We will have been busy editing a book about your team for you - you can simple press 'print' at the end of the season and you will still receive a quality book based on your team's season. Please be sure to check that we have the correct contact details for you.

Do I need any specific skills to be able to use the site

No! So long as you have basic keyboard skills and are familiar with drag'n'drop you will have no problems and our help pages are readily available should you have any queries.

Which browsers does My Football Year support?

We recommend Explorer 7.0+ and Mozilla FireFox 2.0+. Both are available free.
