1. By using My Football Year you agree to be bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately.
2. You agree to use the material provided on MyFootballYear.com only for the completion of your own book about the current football season, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of contributors or third parties.
Our material
3. All copyright material located on the site shall remain vested in the company Ownwrite Limited and/or its suppliers. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available commercially to the public, or otherwise use the content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use to produce your book. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any MyFootballYear.com content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of the content requires the prior written permission of Ownwrite Limited.
4. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the reports, stats and commentary on MyFootballyear.com adhere to copyright and libel rules and laws. You are completely free to use or edit these as you fit in your book. You may also use all images provided by our picture agencies in your book. All Quotes provided should be used as produced without changes to either the content of the quote or its author.
Your material
5. You agree that any additions, changes or new material provided by your contributions to your printed version of My Football Year book are entirely your responsibility and that you will undertake to ensure it abides by current copyright and libel legislation.
6. Copyright in your material will remain with you and you can use the material in any way including allowing others to use it.
7. You should use your best endeavours to ensure that your material is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws. Quotes from other sources published or broadcast third-party sources should be acknowledged with a credit in your book. Large extracts of material from other authors require the prior written permission of the original authors and cannot be passed off as your own.
- You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature to MyFootballYear.com.
- Contributing material to MyFootballYear.com with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
- You agree to submit only contributions which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of Ownwrite Limited's picture agencies or any third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
Your account
8. You are responsible for creating and maintaining the passwords, user name and other log-in information on your account and ensuring that are suitable, they remain confidential and are unlikely to compromise your print privileges. Ownwrite Limited cannot accept responsibility for forgotten user names, passwords or other log-in information, although we will try to help you resolve any problems you have.
9. Ownwrite Limited cannot accept responsibility if you allow your user name, password or log-in details to fall into the hands of others who can then access your account and change your material or print your book.
10. All accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. If you are under 16 then we will require an email address from your parent or guardian in order to log-in to My Football Year.
11. Ownwrite Limited reserves the right to close accounts if any user is seen to be misusing the sites or materials in any way.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
12. The majority of content on MyFootballYear.com is produced by our writers, statisticians picture agencies or third parties who have given their contributions for you to use in the creation of your book. The views and opinions expressed are theirs and have been made in good faith and amount to fair comment.
13. Ownwrite Limited does not guarantee the timeliness, completeness or performance of the website or any of the content. While we try to ensure that all content provided is correct at the time of publication no responsibility is accepted by or on behalf of Ownwrite Limited for any errors, omissions or inaccurate content on the website.
14. Ownwrite Limited does not warrant that functions available on MyFootballYear will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to implement sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output.
15. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
